Kori Hintz-Bohn has been practicing in Kansas since 1999. She received her BA in 1995 and her Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1999. She founded Renew Counseling Center in 2005 with the help of great friends. Kori started Renew’s Intensive Outpatient Program for eating disorders in 2010 and is passionate about helping individuals find lasting healing from whatever their wounds are. She currently oversees Renew and leads various groups in the Intensive Outpatient Program. She works from a cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment based therapy perspective. She believes, learning new coping skills, practice, embracing one’s uniqueness and relationship support, one can change and enjoy the life they were made to have. She also provides supervision to graduate counseling students as well as licensed professional counselors who are working on their clinical license. Outside of Renew Kori enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling anywhere new or laying on a beach, journaling, creating something new, photography and good conversation. |
